I don't understand the “I'd hit that” slang. I mean, I understand it, but I don't get its etymology. Not sure I want to. So much of our language and metaphor is couched in violence — killing birds with stones, dodging bullets, shooting from hips. “I'd hit that” is not only violent, but dehumanizing, reducing a person to “that.” We're a rather disturbed culture.
