The double-format strip is not necessarily a good thing; there is an argument to be made that it's a result of poor editing. But every now and then we might go with it. Like an old-fashioned Sunday strip.For the record, the Kwisatz Haderach is from Dune, a book/film I read/saw once and was never very geeky about.
